Cinnamon Sugar Bunny Twist

These cinnamon twist are the perfect sweet treat for Easter. When you add whip cream or icing you can make the cutest bunny pastries!

Ingredients

2 sheets of Puff Pasty

2 tablespoons of melted butter

2 tablespoons of cinnamon

1/4 cup of sugar

Whipped Cream or Vanilla Frosting

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Lay out one sheet of puff pastry on parchment paper

  3. Brush butter over the puff pastry but leave about about an 1/2 inch on two sides without butter.

  4. Combine your cinnamon and sugar together and brush over the puff pastry.

  5. Place your second pastry sheet on top and then use a fork to crimp the two sides without butter.

  6. Use a pizza cutter to cut the pasties into 1/2 inch strips from side to side horizontally.

  7. Twist your strips to make a bunny shape like the one seen in the finished product.

  8. Bake for 15 minutes.

  9. Let cool and add your bunny tails with the whipped cream or icing.
