My Favorite Face Masks — Taite Daisey

When the pandemic first started I never thought I would need to buy reusable face masks. I always thought things would blow over and my disposable masks would be fine. Well as we all know that didn’t happen and reusable masks are now an essential part of life. They can make or break your day. If I have an uncomfortable masks that makes my ears hurt then I am grumpy until I can take it off. A great masks is now more important than ever. Here are some of my favorites.

Vera Bradley Fitted Mask with Adjustors

I have three Vera Bradley masks and they are so comfortable. The cotton makes is breathable for hot summer months. I also love all of their fun prints that are perfect for any season. I am wearing it in Paisley Wave.

Lululemon Ear Loop Face Mask

This is probably both Cody and I’s favorite face mask ever. Unfortunately a lot of people agree and they are very hard to come by. We both bought ours from poshmark since they sell out at Lululemon almost immediately. They are pretty new so hopefully they will work on producing more. They are a super soft “Luxtreme” material and adjustable. At $12 a piece they are pretty affordable compare to most Lululemon items.

Lululemon Double Strap Face Mask

This mask is perfect for days that you will be wearing a mask for a while. The double strap is great because it doesn’t go around your ears and prevents irritation. However if you are just running errands or taking your mask on and off frequently I don’t recommend it. The double strap makes it difficult to take on and off. I do like wearing this mask at the gym because it stays in place even while running on a treadmill. At the moment it looks like they are sold out online but they are way easier to find then the loop face mask. I did see them in stores at the King St and Towne Center locations in Charleston.

Summersalt Face Coverings

Summersalt sells their face masks as a set of 3 for $32. They come in a variety of colors from classic black to florals. I like these masks because they fit well against my face but don’t press directly on my face. It feels like I have more room in these without my nose being pressed on. They feel like they have more structure than most masks and the wire inside creates a customizable fit around your face.

Kitsch Set of 3 Cotton Masks

These were the first reusable face masks I purchased when the pandemic started. I still wear them often because they are so soft. I do wish they had adjustors because they hurt my ears after wearing them for a long time. I do like them for times that I am not wearing a mask long. They are also very affordable at $12 for 3 masks.
