Pumpkin Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients

For the cake

  • 2 cups of flour

  • 1 tsp of baking soda

  • 1 tsp of baking powder

  • 2 tsp of pumpkin pie seasoning

  • 1 2/3 cup of sugar

  • 1 cup of vegetable oil

  • 1 15oz can of pumpkin puree

  • 4 eggs

  • 1 tsp salt

For the Cream Cheese Frosting

  • 8 oz cream cheese

  • 1/2 cup butter

  • 1 tsp vanilla exctract

  • 1 1/2 cups of powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp of pumpkin pie seasoning

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

  2. In a large bowl, add all of your cake ingredients

  3. Mix until smooth.

  4. Pour into a greased baking pan and bake for 30-35 minutes

  5. Let the cake cool before frosting.

For the frosting

  1. In a bowl, add room temperature cream cheese, butter, pumpkin pie and powdered sugar

  2. Blend on medium speed until smooth
