Homemade Corn Tortillas
Makes 10 small tortillas or 7 medium ones
Ingredients
2 cups of Masa flour
1 1/4 cup of warm water
sprinkle of sea salt
Directions
Combine all of your ingredients in a bowl.
Knead your dough for 5 minutes.
Cover your dough for 10 minutes and let it sit.
Break your dough into smaller balls. The larger the ball, the bigger the tortilla.
Place a sheet of parchment paper on the bottom of the tortilla press, add one ball of dough, cover with another sheet of parchment paper and press down. If you donโt have a tortilla press you can use two places.
Place your tortilla on a hot nonstick pan over medium heat and cook on each side for about 60 seconds.
Repeat with each ball of dough and enjoy.
Tip: If your tortilla falls apart knead your dough longer.
