Hot Honey Chicken
Ingredients:
Chicken:
4 cups of crushed corn flakes
2 large eggs
1/4 cup of parmesan cheese
2 lbs of chicken breast
1 tsp of paprika
1 tsp of garlic powder
1 tsp of chili powder
1 tsp of hot sauce
Salt
Pepper
Olive oil
Hot Honey:
1/2 cup of honey
3 tbsp of hot sauce
1 tbsp of garlic powder
1 tbsp of chili powder
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
Combine your corn flakes, parmesan, and spices together in a bowl.
In a separate bowl combine your eggs and hot sauce.
Pound your chicken breast before coating it in the egg mixture.
Then dredge the chicken in the corn flakes.
Add your chicken to a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or I used a wire rack on top of the cookie sheet.
Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 20-25 minutes.
While the chicken is cooking combine your honey, hot sauce, garlic powder and chili powder in a bowl. If the seasonings aren’t mixing well or the honey is too thick you can do this over lower heat.
Remove your chicken from the oven, drizzle with your hot honey sauce and enjoy!
