Breakfast Toasts
One of my favorite things to eat for breakfast is toast! I love just butter and jelly but when I want to mix it up I’ll make avocado or cream cheese and tomato toast. Here are my recipes for both!
Avocado Toast
Ripe Avocado
Lime Juice
Salt
Pepper
Red Pepper Flakes
Oregano
Everything but the Bagel Seasoning
Bread
Throw your bread in the toaster and start with your avocado. You will know your avocado when it is slightly soft but not too squishy. If your avocado is rock hard, it is not its time. Peel your avocado and place in a bowl. Add some lime juice, salt, pepper and oregano and start to smash. If your avocado isn’t ripe this is going to be a pain to do! You should be able to just use a spoon and it should easily smash down. When your toast is done spread your avocado mixture on top and sprinkle some everything but the bagel seasoning and crushed red pepper flakes on top!
Cream Cheese + Tomatoes
Cream Cheese
Balsamic Glaze
Cherry Tomatoes halved or Roma Tomatoes sliced
Toast
Everything but the bagel seasoning
Once your bread is toasted spread some cream cheese on top. Place your sliced tomatoes on top of the cream cheese. Drizzle balsamic glaze on top (Make sure its glaze because I accidentally did balsamic vinaigrette once and it did not go well). Sprinkle with everything but the bagel seasoning and enjoy!
